Our Privacy Commitment: Your World, Your Data

We believe privacy is power.

FableForge exists to help you explore the worlds you imagine - not to exploit the data you leave behind. Our mission is to build a platform that gives you freedom, creativity, and control over your experience.

Your sessions are private

What you type, what you say to the characters you meet, and the story that grows from it are yours.

  • Nobody at Fable Forge opens or reads your sessions. Not what you type, not your conversations with characters, not the story they create. We don't use them for marketing, and we don't use them to train AI.
  • Your sessions are encrypted. They travel over encrypted connections and are stored encrypted.
  • Only the game reads along. What you type is processed automatically - by our servers and our AI partners - only to write what happens next.
  • Our analytics never see your story. Analytics and error reports record clicks, screens and crashes, never what you type, and any screen recording hides all text.
  • The only exceptions: if you ask us to look into something, such as in a bug report or a support request, or if the law requires it.

We are guided by three core principles

  • Minimal Data, Maximum Fun: We only collect what's absolutely needed to make your journey rich, seamless, and secure. We don't want your data; we want you to have a great time.
  • You Are in Control: You can delete your data at any time - your sessions, your account, everything. We're building toward a future where anonymous and offline play are standard options, giving you ultimate control.
  • No Surprises, No Tricks: Your sessions are never used for advertising or profiling. On our website, and only if you say yes, we use analytics to see how it is used, and advertising measurement so Meta, Reddit and OpenAI can tell us whether our ads work. Advertising measurement never runs on game or sign-in pages. You can say yes or no to each, and change your mind at any time under Cookie Settings. We will always be transparent about the data we need and why.

Our Current Practices in Plain English

  • What we collect: Your email/username to manage your account, your saved game states so you can resume your adventures, and your in-world interactions to power automated gameplay features.
  • What we don't do: We don't open, read or review your sessions. Your adventures are yours - we store them to make the game work, not to watch what you do.
  • AI Technology: To bring your stories to life, we send your prompts to third-party AI partners. This is essential for the magic to happen, and we cover the details of this process in our full policy.
